Water Treatment Training for Dialysis Patient Care Personnel
This training program (available on VHS or DVD) is a basic water system inservice. It describes
each component of a typical water treatment system (Softener, Carbon Filters, RO, DI, UV, Endotoxin
Retentive Fitlers, etc), and discusses what medical issues each filter can cause.

Dialysis Water Treatment Training (coming soon)
This training program goes over the AAMI guidelines, Canadian standards, and International
standards for a water treatment system used for hemodialysis. It discusses the purpose of each
component of the water system, the equipment requirements of each component, how each
component works (RO, ion exchange, adsorption, etc), the monitoring requirements for each
component, what preventative maintenance is required, and what problems each component can
cause. This program will be submitted for Continuing Educational Credits.
